We taste Guava & Jasmine
Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe region produces some of the world's finest coffee. The Gotiti kebele, within Gedeb woreda, is home to 868 farmers who deliver cherry to a washing station established in 2023. Processing 500–600 tons annually, they meticulously wash, pulp, ferment, and dry their coffees while maintaining strict lot separation for traceability. Gotiti farmers grow coffee on small plots of 0.1–2 hectares, often intercropping with banana and acacia trees for shade. The lush forest, high altitude, and indigenous heirloom varieties create the ideal conditions for smaller, more flavorful beans with distinct, elegant, and floral notes.
This coffee variety is an Ethiopian Landrace and uses a washed fermentation processing method. The coffee cherries are washed and mechanically depulped, then soaked overnight and dried for 12-15 days on raised beds. All of the love and care from the Gotiti famers really shines through in this coffee. Bright tropical flavors of guava and papaya give way to delicate jasmine florals on the palate.
Available in 12oz, 2lb, or 5lb bags.
