This coffee comes from Finca Las Lajas owned by James Fernandez. This particular Gesha is a Variety Select lot, these lots are designed to highlight the flavor potential that is inherent in particular coffee varieties, and are the result of great care and attention to detail on the producer's part. These coffees are microlot-level quality and come with a high degree of traceability.

This Gesha is hand-picked in the morning, at peak ripeness and pulped in the afternoon before undergoing a 48-hour fermentation in open-air tanks, it's then washed clean of its mucilage and dried.
