    Francisco Mena is synonymous with coffee in Costa Rica. He pioneered the development of specialty coffee there and has facilitated numerous partnerships between independent coffee producers and roasters. We have been working with Francisco since the beginning of Dogwood in 2010. Naturally, we are quite excited to have our first offering from Francisco’s recently acquired farm. Sumava de Lourdes is located in the West Valley region of Costa Rica. This lot is a Villa Sarchi variety that is grown between 1670-1750 masl, processed through an anaerobic method, and dried on raised beds.
