Finca Pie San was purchased in 2012 by producer Luis Alberto Monge Ureña. It is his highest elevation farm at 1950 meters in the Tarrazu region, and his coffee is processed at his family's micro-mill - La Lia. This farm consists of mostly Catuai and Caturra varietals. Luis also has a small plot with multiple varietals that contribute to our La Lia varietal project that we release annually, and in very limited quantity. This separated Red Catuai lot is a balanced cup with medium acidity.
