The Long Miles Coffee Project started in 2013 in hope of facilitating relationships between roasters and coffee growers in Burundi. Year after year, Long Miles has both increased coffee quality and opened new doors for coffee producers in Burundi. We are proud to have been one of the roasters connected in Burundi since their inception. The Mikuba hill is stunningly beautiful and blanketed with blue and yellow flowers, acacia and banana trees and some of the tastiest coffee to be had. There are 1,800 coffee farming families contributing to this Bourbon variety coffee that is grown between 1870-2036 masl.
