Finca Pie San was purchased in 2012 by Luis Alberto Monge Ureña (one of our longest running producer partners). It is his highest elevation farm at 1950 meters in the Tarrazu region, and his coffee is processed at his family's micro-mill - La Lia. This farm consists mostly of Catuai and Caturra varieties. This particular offering is a honey-processed Catuai, where the skin of the cherry has been removed, but the mucilage is left on while drying - a middle ground of sorts between a fully washed coffee and a natural.

We roast for online orders Monday-Thursday (except for major holidays). Orders placed prior to 6:00 am central time on a roasting day typically get roasted that day and shipped out by the following business day. Orders received after 6:00 am will be roasted the next roasting day and shipped the following business day.
