Our uptown coffee bar opened just after Dogwood Coffee began, in November of 2010. Since then, we’ve worked to find both classic as well as unique ways to showcase the coffees we source and roast.
We brew coffees by the cup using Chemex and the Bonavita Immersion brewer. Espresso drinks are made on our three group Synesso Hydra, and of course, all of this is done by our highly skilled and radical team of baristas.
We are fully stocked with almost all of our current whole bean coffee offerings for purchase. Coffees for the uptown coffee bar are roasted twice a week, so you’ll always be buying something well within the “most delicious by” date. Our staff is super in tune with the coffees and should be able to answer any questions you might have, or direct you to a coffee you’ll love. Offerings change seasonally, and we try to keep things fresh and exciting, so expect to find new things when you visit us!
While we’re totally committed to making you awesome coffee at the coffee bar, we also want you to make great coffee at home. Along with whole bean coffee, the coffee bar sells a smattering of home coffee brewing devices, all of which we stand behind in terms of quality, usage and level of fun.

PARKING: We recommend parking south of 31st street on Hennepin, where there are no meters. Metered parking is available on Hennepin, and there is a parking ramp behind the Calhoun Square building where you can enter from 31st or Lake street
